	THURSDAYS Thursdays at Lucky Bar play host to one of Victoria's most lethal dance parties: NYPD (Not Your Parents Disco). Each Thursday Kenzie explore numerous avenues of funk, house, electro & disco to produce an undeniable party. If Kenzie's grin & cute lil boppin dance moves don't get you fired up, then her thumping set will. Kenzie Clarke is a fixture in Victoria's post-rave community. As half of Bitchin' Beats (her partnership with Calgary's Mama Miche), Kenzie is renowned for her contagious energy on stage & her penchant for bouncey beats, from punchy electro & remixes to hip-hop & the freshest Balearic disco. In the fall of 2008, Kenzie competed in Lucky Bar's DJ competition So You Wanna Be A DJ? After 4 months of tough competition she won the crown & claimed her weekly residence on Thursday nights. Playing host to a massive swath of genres & styles, resident DJ Longshanks wields a post-everything mix of all that is good about dance music from the last 20 years. Longshanks started DJing Arcade Fire & Joy Division at 'Hang The DJ', the legendary club night that waved the indie flag before everyone got sick of Death Cab For Cutie.
